My art used to be actual recognizable shapes. Until I realized that was not what I liked, nor needed. What made me content with my art was pattern.
One of the most important aspects for my drawings is never knowing on which side it will stand. It is the freedom of perspective that allows me to love them very much.
Line art is my favorite. It is simple but may be as complex as you wish to be.

If I ever need inspiration I think back to this book or re-read it. I think of the world created by this man and images start to appear. New each time. Each unique to itself.
